I think its a good place to be. Never a dull moment. Plenty of activities offered depending on your likes and your participation. I am resident here It will be a year in January. With my husband passing this was the perfect way to be. I met a lot of strong women who showed me support from staff to residents.

Analysis of my wife's assisted living
Food is quiet well with choices. The manager seems to be very concern with safety, health of the residents. The staff is quite good. I visit almost daily. My wife seems happy. Her cousin who also visits weekly is very impressed.

Some staff EXCELLENT, some NASTY! Truthfully when you are in your 70’s do you need to deal with NASTY ?? I think NOT! There are many ways to deal with people o matter what their attitude, I you’re not happy with your job, LEAVE!

I would recommend the Atria to others highly and I actually have done so already. Atria is wonderful! The facility itself is lovely and very clean. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. The well care center is on top of everything. They really keep a very close eye on the residents and they keep me up to the moment regarding my father's health. The meals are terrific, well balanced, nutritious, and plentiful. Housekeeping, laundry service, etc., are excellent.

Review for Atria East Northport
The facility met our needs for where we were at at the time. Dad needed one-on-one care and we were unable to find a facility that would take him. So what made Atria unique and perfect was that in addition to paying for the room and board we were given the opportunity to private pay for aides who would be with him 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That variable changed the game for us. [name removed] who is one of the main contacts/social workee there was pivotal in ensuring all questions were answered and any information we needed was responded to timely. She was a God send for us...all love

My mom and dad
My parents, both in their late 70s, have not been able to care for themselves so after touring several places, we made Atria East Northport their new home. My parents both love it there, especially the daily activities and the community. And to top it all off, whenever we have questions, albeit billing, we call their CBD. I think her name is [name removed], who goes out of her way to respond to us and makes us feel like family.

Unbelievable care, attention atmosphere!
On [date removed], sister who has Parkinson’s, was admitted to Atria. Shortly thereafter, she had a health crisis that required hospitalization & surgery. The staff responded quickly to her needs, & has gone OVER & ABOVE what is required to care for her post surgery.
I can’t express how impressed my family has been with this facility. The social worker has been extremely responsive in helping my sister secure medical supplies, work through some insurance problems & extending a level of compassion & kindness that exceeds the job description.
The recreational counselor has gone out of her way to help my sister find specific movies & DVDS that she would enjoy.
The food is delicious & the staff is accommodating to special requests.
The facility offers psychotherapy which has helped my sister transition & adjust to her current level of functioning.
Most of all the nursing care has been phenomenal!
They are kind, compassionate, & sensitive to my sister’s physical and emotional needs

Consummate compassion & professionalism
My brother in law has been a resident for around fifteen years, firstly in assisted living and fir the past several years in the Memory Care section.
I usually visit him weekly on different days and times. The facility is always fresh & immaculate. Over the years everyone from the Director to all of the rest of the staff have been unfailingly helpful prifessional and above all compassionate.
I have no hesitation in recommending Atria East Northport to anyone who has need of assisted living or Memory Ynit facilities for a lived one

Wonderful experience!
Atria in East Northport has an incredible Memory Care unit! My was placed there [date removed]. [name removed] and her staff were amazing from the moment mom came. Communication was open and available. I knew my mom was safe and loved as she transitioned from home to an assisted living facility with Alzheimer’s disease. Mom was engaged and encouraged throughout the day and the staff was always so helpful with assisting with mom’s needs. The entire administration team was there to help move my mom in which was a very difficult decision for myself. [name removed] even brought her dog in to help mom with the transition. Atria will always be a special place for us as they helped mom with her dementia. Worth every penny!

Excellent and safe place for mom
My mother was a resident at the Atria East Northport for about two years - she suffers from dementia and her room was in their secure memory unit. Our experience there was wonderful!!!! They knew just how to work with mom so that she felt comfortable. Mom can be challenging but the staff there was so patient with her. They have so many activities everyday. I could call anytime and get an update. It’s always clean and the rooms are spacious and bright. So if you’re looking for a safe place for your parents consider the Atria. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Horrible in dementia unit !
We thought we found a good place for mom.!
They Talk a good game before handing over your money ! They charged us a month as a " get acquainted fee ".
THE AIDES IN THE BASEMENT DEMENTIA UNIT DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO GUESTS FIGHTING , AND A MAN URINATING IN THE DINING ROOM., THEY WERE TOO BUSY TALKING .
NOT ENOUGH STAFF

PULLED MOM.OUT IN 3 WEEKS .

A Good Place to Go
I would recommend it. Like all places, you have to be aware of what's going on there, and you can't just turn everything over to them. You'll want to communicate with the staff and your loved one, which is just normal process. At first, it took a little while to get all the care service details sorted out, but everything is good now. They weren't letting us know when our loved one was rejecting certain services she was signed up for, and we just wanted to know so we could talk to her about the importance of each one. But that's all ironed out now. The front desk has been a little less friendly, but overall the staff we've met and have interacted with have been friendly for the most part.

Truly a cut above the rest
My sisters and I went hunting for a place for my Mom back in March/April. I tell you we must have seen at least a dozen or so from Nassau/Queens border to mid Suffolk. When we hit upon the Atria at East Northport, we were struck by the difference they made more than any other Assisted Living community we have seen previously. The people here actually care very much. They are kind, patient, and smiling. it goes a long way with everyone there. When my mother is asked how she likes living at the Atria she says "I'd rather be in my own house with my own things around me I won't kid you, but if I can't have that then I'm am content to be at the Atria because everyone is truly nice to talk to."
