Check it out on Google for a lot of first hand info. \n\nI noticed a review here from [date removed] claiming there were state violations but this community passes state licensing and inspections easily, year after year… for forty years! It’s public information. Not only is Beechwood safe, it is an enriching second family. The one-star review here, as well as the ones there, were all from one source and her friends, and they don’t tell the real story. Read all the other reviews from various people and look into it for yourself. Other places say they’re cheaper because they charge less for rent, but then they jack up their prices for care needs & even food is extra, so they end up costing much more in the end. The building itself is fine but isn’t as fancy as some of the newer places. They do seem to be making some building improvements recently, though. Some residents that have been there a while are in their 100s! I like that they hire their own staff instead of contracting from another company. Some positions change often but most stick around for a long time & have really gotten to know my mom well. They also keep the Activities department going all day until 7 or 8 pm and have regular entertainment & some outings.
