My experience with a family member.
The room size is small, but overall it works for my mom. I have never eaten there. Mom mostly enjoys it. Everyone is friendly.

The staff were very friendly. The residents were welcoming too and seemed very happy there. We were impressed that the residents gave positive feedback about the facility. The nurses there really studied my father's care needs and worked with us about the best and affordable approaches.

Staff is great but the food is not great. Nurses are very good. I would recommend it. They take good care of my husband.

I moved into Brookdale North Euclid a senior living facility.on [date removed], four months ago. Complaints yes, enough that my daughter asked if I wanted to move. NO! I feel safe and secure. I am particularly impressed with staff response to emergencies. I fell, 3 staff arrived in under 2 minutes, saw this same response again this week. Staff quickly learn your name, address you with respect and really seem to care and want to do a good job. Supervisors and managers respond with lightening speed to questions and complaints. May not immediately get your answer or problem solved. BUT you know you were heard. You can be as busy , active or inactive as you wish and/or are able. There is plenty to do. Residents are respectful of each other and most seem to like it here. Is it perfect? NO. That being said I would complain if I had a personal maid and chef. I am a very picky eater, allergies and tastes, they work hard to please me. They couldn’t pay me enough to work here with old folks

The admissions went to home to evaluate. They assessed him accurately. They transported him to the facility. They showed concern. Everyone is very friendly. They treated everyone with respect and concern.

I have found them to be very communicative and very attentive to what is required. I would have to say that they can make things happen very quickly. If there is a problem, they have enough outside contacts to help you in the right direction to solve any problems that you might have. I would have to say that they're number one strength is probably communication.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. I was impressed by the way the staff made my father feel welcome and included. We would absolutely recommend Brookdale North to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My mom is no longer at Brookdale. She could no longer live in assisted living. While my mom lived at Brookdale she had about $360.00 taken from her wallet while she was in the hospital. And someone stole her wedding rings another time she wasn't in her room. Brookdale does not take Medi-Cal.

Seems to be a good place for active seniors. We picked thic community because it was close to Upland, where our loved has been for over 35 years. A Place for Mom services are truly a gift ! [name removed] was amazing and I so appreciated being walked through the process by her to find [name removed] a place that he can call home .

So far we are very pleased with Brookdale North Euclid. We have a unique situation so any stumbles early on were almost expected but the entire team has worked well with us and things are very smooth now after just a short time.

We were not able to experience a lot within this community because our loved one had a stroke and was never able to move in. However, everyone seemed really happy to be there. Residents as well as all the employees we met.

Making the transitional move to Brookdale North Euclid for my mother was quick, easy and decisive. Upon viewing the facility, it appeared very clean, free of undesirable odors, and pleasant. The house staff were very knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, or relay requests, which were always promptly met to my expectations. Another observation I reviewed each time I visited the home, was that each resident I encountered, seemed very cheerful, and happy to be there; whether it was a small group sitting in the lobby chatting to the receptionist, a lone resident using her walker in the hallway, or a sweet lady in the library. Everyone seemed content, and in great spirits, which spoke 'volumes' to me. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their loved one to call 'home'.

I am impressed with Brookdale. I would have no hesitation bringing another loved one to live there. My dad was very much welcomed there. Also, just fyi, [name removed], one of the managers there, helped my dad with his transition. He was allowed to go over for lunch a few times before he made his final decision, and [name removed] made every effort to accommodate us in every way. The attention my dad received was very warm and personal. In addition, I don't know if you know this, but potential new residents are allowed to spend one month at Brookdale to get a good feel for it, and to help them with their decisions. They just pay for the month. Everything is provided during that time.

I like [name removed], the business office manager and the sales manager lady as well. I sent Brookdale North Euclid an email giving a special thanks to [name removed], one of their caregivers. She is very hardworking, and she immediately came if I needed her to. If I had an urgent call, she would immediately take care of whatever I needed. In regards to meals, I'm Muslim so I don't eat pork. I told them that and they took care of my needs, they made sure to never give me pork or bacon. They don't accept Medicare/Medicaid or any kind of insurance, so you do have to pay out of pocket. The staff that I knew in the facility were very good. [name removed], the business office manager was helping me so much. So in general, Brookdale staff and the assisted living facility itself are great. If you are capable of paying with your own money, it's a very good place. If I become capable of paying with my own money, I would go back again. I was very comfortable at Brookdale.

It has been a good experience for us. The staff have been able to make this a good experience for the family and our loved one. The staff are pretty good at answering or addressing our questions or concerns about our loved one. The food is good. The community has menus for my loved one to order off of and select what they want. The apartment, changing of linens, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, all the meals, and utilities (excluding basic cable) are included in the the monthly fee. There is a monthly charge for the assistance pendant that the resident's wear and basic cable. The community is able to handle the medication management for my loved one's care. The community does offer additional care types, if your loved one needs them.

This is a really nice place that is clean. I like the people here. The food from the menu looks good. I would recommend Brookdale North Euclid to others for their loved ones. The staff are quick to answer any of the family's questions, and address our concerns. They try their best to satisfy the family's requests and questions. Laundry, housekeeping, bathing assistance, the room, and three meals a day are included in the monthly price. Exercise classes, crocheting, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from. There are nice sitting areas for the family to sit with our loved one, and the outside patio is nice as well. The food is pretty good. My loved one seems to enjoy the choices available for meals. The meals seemed to be balanced as well.
