We had several health events with her during her 4 years stay and each time Country Meadows went out of their way to ensure her safety, comfort and ability to continue to live there. Our saddest day was when her care finally required true skilled nursing and we had to place her elsewhere. My only negative is that they don’t offer certified Skilled Nursing at this site. My Mother certainly wanted to stay there till her end. Their kindness and sense of humor convinced my sister to agree to the move.\nOnce settled at Country Meadows, my sister flourished. She made friends and participated in activities that she never would have done had she had stayed in her home. Unfortunately, as time passed, her dementia worsened. She needed extra care which led to a move to the Memory Care unit. The staff members were attentive, caring, and kind. Unfortunately, the dementia led to hospice care and a move to the Pathways unit.
