Ohana Home treats her as if she is a cherished member of their family. \nWhen I went to visit my mother a few days ago, she was in a comfortable lounge chair in the living room and was singing along with the hymns a care provider had playing in the TV. I cried with joy to see her so safe and provided for. \nMy mother is very fragile, has advanced dementia, and needs ongoing protection from an abusive relative. When we moved mom into Ohana Home, she was covered in bruises, had lacerations on her legs and arms, and required wound care.
