We moved from one CCRC, non- profit to another , Regency Oaks which is for profit. We feel much more comfortable with the governing body than before. We rate it a 4.5 due to all CCRC'S having similar problems now and then. However, we find the food and dining experiences a 5 in comparison to others and the many different locations to eat , welcoming. The type of people who choose to live this type of life are compatible and amazing . It is a community ready to be supportive when needed and appreciative of opportunities to make the best end of life fun together! A gift for children who don't have the burdens of care giving but can enjoy the end of life experiences through visits and love.

Living Could Not Be Better
Living could not be better than living at Regency Oaks. You have a great set of neighbors. They are friendly and fun to be with. The Staff are great people willing to go the "extra mile". We have lived here nearly ten years and it doesn't seem nearly that long!! The grounds are well cared for and beautiful to look at. The buildings have been well cared for.
I never thought I could retire in such a great place to live.

Wonderful Place to Live
My husband and I moved here almost ten years ago, and we haven't regretted it for a single minute. The people, residents and staff, are amazing--so friendly and helpful. There are more activities than any one person can do, and new residents are readily accepted. The food is great, the grounds are gorgeous and you are welcome to participate in as many or as few as you desire.

It is a great place for seniors who wish to stay social and busy.
Our food is good with many choices.

Amazing place for your love one
I had the unfortunate experience of needing to move my loving husband to multiple nursing home until I found the one that works best for us, and I have to say, this nursing home I could have only dreamed of. The staff are so kind, personal, helpful and goes above and beyond to show they caring and to keep the resident happy and safe in this pandemic. Most importantly, there is attention to detail cleanliness, great quality food. I truly thank God I found this new home ,and I pray that all the staff are saluted for their outstanding service. From [name removed] in admission to the front desk, to [name removed] to to the administration Mr.[ name removed] so helpful and kind. And the nurses and Cna that I met.Mrs [name removed] occupation therapist extremely helpful . all the staff I encounter were emotional.
The regency oak of clearwater it's the best place to put your loved one and feel safe he is in great and very clean home.

Stay away!!
Just take your loved one home and find adequate help at home if possible. Dad lost over 11 lbs on a 3 week visit and they were quite happy for him to leave, as if they fixed anything. NOT!! They added to his issues and no one, including administrative were willing to help! Director of nursing said dad lost 11 lbs in rehab because he was more active over the 20 days he was there, please he's 91 years old!!! Very unhappy with the "best place" in the area!! We have a very long way to go for good health care for seniors in this country. Only when it becomes something other than "For Profit" will it get better!

Outstanding fit for mom, peace of mind for me
My mom went and took a tour a few years ago and she loved it then. We called and went for another tour and the staff was outstanding, I have never met a nicer group of people and they are so accommodating. They come and check on my mom every day and they just go above and beyond. They are very cautious with covid, they have locked down twice since she has been there and take every precaution they need to. The apartment sizes are very good, hers is a 1 bedroom and it is perfect for her needs. When you move in they repaint everything and put in all new flooring so it feels brand new and you are able to personalize it as much as you want. It has given me great peace of mind having mom here and knowing she is safe, I would definitely recommend to other families looking.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is amazing. There are so many activities to do you lose track. The food is amazing and it really is a good value for your money. I would recommend this community to others.

We have decided to put a deposit down on Monday. It is a bit pricey but has everything I could imagine wanting - even a choral group. The rooms are the largest of any other place we looked.

Thankful living here
I moved in with my husband in July 2013, we both loved our home and where very happy here. We still where traveling and enjoyed all the many activities and functions that are available here.
But in December 2016 I left for one and half hrs just to find my husband
had a massive stroke and died at home.
The support I had from all the people in this community was overwhelming.
I am so grateful that we both made this move together and can now continue to live in my home for many years to come with no worries

It was a good decision to move to Regency Oaks. We are very happy here. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. Good food with a varied menu. Lots of activities from which to choose. We have been here 5 years.

A tour with care
This was a nice tour. The staff was nice and they answered all the of the questions that they had. They did offer a nice tour and it seemed to be very clean. They do have activities for everyone. I think that this would of been a great choice for my mom if she did not want to stay at home.

Nobody likes change...especially at 86
We have been working on moving my Mom from her house in Delray Beach to an Independent Living community for all the usual reasons. I toured Regency Oaks and the community immediately felt like the right fit for my Mom.
The team there was fantastic and thorough.
We've had logistics issues while we tried to get things completed (on our side) and the team at Regency was wonderfully flexible and understanding.
At the end of the day, they helped us secure a very nice apartment for my Mom and did it as sensitively as possible (nobody likes change, especially at 86) with a great result.
The Regency team understands that and really does a great job helping with change by enlisting a great staff and community volunteers.

I wish I had more information
To be completely honest, I loved what I saw on my tour with the Executive Chef, as I have a culinary arts degree. I was rather disappointed that I arrived to find that my appointment had not been confirmed as the website A Place for Mom had suggested....this is not the only place I showed up without an appointment. I was totally impressed with their facility. The Chef could not answer most of my questions, he was taking me on a tour since everyone else was in a class. Seriously, not the fault of anyone except A Place for Mom. He was kind and answered all my questions as best as he could, and was so nice to print off the weekly menu for me because both my parents have dementia and getting them to eat is really an obstacle! I would have loved for my parents to have stayed here if it was closer to my home and I knew what exactly the fees were.
It is possible that I did miss a call from this place due to the fact that I had to return to NC to take care of my parents. I did use my Clearwater home phone # as my contact.

Misleading statements and misinformation from marketing saleswoman undermines trust . Regency Oaks Management should be honest and show integrity. When we complained about being mislead nothing was done by management.

The Sales and Marketing staff at Regency Oaks ALL were very helpful when I was looking for a place for my mother who now lives there. They accommodating every question and request every step of the way.
The staff at Regency Oaks is all wonderful. I highly recommend this LIVING arrangement for anyone looking for a Continuity of Care Facility.
