True Care Living is a Home for the Aged located in historical Fort Custer in Springfield, Michigan. Our facility has a bold history. Previously owned by the United States Army, 565 General Ave. was the airman's living quarters for many years. Purchased in 1989 by the DOCSA home, it became an Assisted Living Facility. It has changed hands three times with True Care Living being the successor. True Care Living has been in operation since March 2021. The building has undergone a tremendous amount of renovations that continue as of 2022. We are currently licensed for 69 residents but this license will expand as renovations on the 2nd and 3rd floor are completed. The first half of our 2nd floor is nearing completion and will be available for occupation soon! <br><br>True Care Living is an income-based Home for the Aged that provides assistance with activities of daily living for seniors who are aged 55 and up. We have an L.P.N who is available 24/7, and many great members of our Care staff who are on staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have a great dietary team that includes a chef who previously came from a Country Club, and her baking skills are out of this world! Our activity center is robust and growing constantly to accommodate many different hobbies for our residents. Some activities include a weekly pool league, Bingo, gardening club, movies, parties and holiday events. Our arcade includes a pinball machine, and Atari console. We have a stocked library and we have recently added tablets preloaded with games that are available all day long! <br><br><b>Please call for a tour!
