Highly recommended
5 to all. We didn't have any complaints. Everyone was very supportive and friendly. They do affordable short-term respite stays for people who need a temporary option.

Tree lined roads lead seniors into Westbridge, a vibrantly charming community 30 miles west of Chicago, Illinois. Have peace of mind knowing a hospital is near the senior living community. The suburban city has a variety of activities like museums, golf course, and a zoo. Or, travel east to a beach off of Lake Michigan.
Seniors can pamper themselves to a day at the spa. Soak up the sun in the courtyard garden. Raised garden beds also create easy access for seniors with a green thumb. Chef-prepared meals are served in the formal dining room. Socialize with other residents in the vibrant common room where seniors can participate in individualized activities.
The assisted living and memory care neighborhood is located in Wyndemere. These residents also have access to a continuum of care through another neighborhood called “Wynscape” that provides rehabilitation and skilled nursing services. Each apartment home includes a call system used in case of emergencies. Feel at ease knowing your loved one’s well-being is a priority with staff checking on them multiple times a day. Wyndemere is a beautiful senior community. Westbridge is the assisted-living "arm" of Wyndemere and the décor, smiling helpful staff, variety of activities, dining rooms have been carried over. They have made the transition from independent living to assisted living about as seamless as possible. Staff at Westbridge is very responsive, always positive. Rooms are sunny and bright. Even the maintenance staff is responsive to any little things.

Experience has been excellent! Our 91 year old mother lived in her town home independently until recently. She loves her "new home" as she fondly calls her apartment. The staff is lovely and very responsive. We are so thankful for Westbridge. Our mom is happy and feels safe. That is priceless!

Some of my mother’s medication was not given. This was a big concern . The staff , in charge of activities, [name removed] and her partner, sorry I have forgotten her name were warm and welcoming . They couldn’t have done more to make my mom feel comfortable and involved. [name removed]and [name removed]were efficient and friendly administrators. for the Westbridge. [name removed]and [name removed]were fabulous nurses. After 2 days of trying to get a bed rail for my mom, [name removed] took care of if it in an hour. Those 2 provided excellent patient care.

We needed a short-term assisted living place for mom due to family vacations. This place came through for us. The price was right and they had only a 3-day minimum. When our mom is ready for a long term situation we’ll go here.

Employees do what they say they are going to do. They know my mom, her personality, and her needs. They seem genuinely concerned for her health and well-being.

Our experience at Westbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care was quite a contrast from [facility name removed] which my mother had been with for several prior years. Here they offered a wide variety of activities. The staff was wonderful. The outdoor seating areas were nice. They did a good job of keeping the residents families involved and informed.

We looked at several places for my mom, but what finally tipped us in favor of Westbridge was HER request to move there! She understands she can no longer live at home but was apprehensive and reluctant to move. After a brief rehab stint at neighboring Wynscape, which included a few outings to Westbridge, she decided we didn't need to look any further: Westbridge was her choice. Additional rave reviews and recommendations from acquaintances who had placed their parents at Westbridge sealed the deal. The move-in process was very kindly and patiently handled and staff works very hard to ensure my mom's needs are met and to make socializing easier for her. The facility is very clean and there are many daily activities to keep residents busy and engaged. The food is restaurant quality. Very, very good with much variety. Overall, very pleased with our decision.

Activities were excellent and very friendly and inviting! Wish there was more nursing staff* The food quality was good. Communication between the staff and myself was not always done but Westbridge staff were always nice.

I toured Westbridge Assisted Living & Memory care, and they seemed to be in a transitional stage. They were striving, but I got the feeling that they weren't quite setup how they wanted to be. A lot of things were changing there and I didn't feel comfortable having my loved one there.

Westbridge takes Covid precautions seriously. Staff is always masked. Visitors need to sign in, answer a series of questions, get their temperature taken, and wear a mask. Dining menus are great, and they will make special meals for residents with different dietary needs. They have a lot of fun activities planned throughout the day.

The number 1 requirement I have is to be bathed everyday. Prior to moving in, we visited many times & had many formal & informal interviews. We repeatedly asked for confirmation that residents can be assisted in bathing everyday. We were told each time that yes, assisted bathing was available everyday, whenever the resident required or requested bathing. That has turned out to be false. Residents are only allowed assisted bathing 2 times per week, no matter the circumstance (illness, toileting accident, etc.). This has been a demoralizing and disappointing turn of events.

We couldn’t have been more pleased how the entire staff made my mothers transition easy and worry free. From every recommendation too the top notch, move in ready apartment, they couldn’t have made it any better. I am so grateful for the amount of care and attention that Wyndemere provides for ALL of their residents. I was ready to move in. We can’t thank them enough...

I have been very impressed with Wyndemere over the last 15 months when we moved in. The staff is particularly caring, helpful, and friendly. The food is quite good, and the opportunities for activities are also very good.

We have been Wyndemere independent living residents at for over 5 years and have loved every aspect of it. We are a part of a caring family like community, where choices abound - for hobbies, exercise, meal selection, concerts, lectures, trips, etc. Move here while you are young enough to be fully involved. A shopping center is within walking distance. The campus includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and nursing care. We can remain near to our significant other for nearly all aspects of future health care. World class emergency services are adjacent to our campus and our hospital is just minutes away.

We have lived here almost 4 months and just love it! We chose a town home, and the staff customized it for us. Speaking of the staff, they are lovely people who have been very helpful in getting us settled. The residents that we have met are so pleasant. I know that we will make friends as soon as we get involved in some of the activities offered at Wyndemere. There certainly are lots of things to do here! Because we live in a large town home with a big kitchen, we opted out of the meal program. However, we can eat at the Bistro or in the dining room anytime we don't feel like cooking. The food is really good! We have entertained friends at the Bistro, and they are quite impressed. All in all, we feel like we made the right decision by moving to Wyndemere.

I think the impressive staff and then the friendliness of the people living here are valuable to me. The Marketing Department was very helpful with a lunch for us and gift basket the day I moved into Wyndemere. The residents were friendly and helpful. All of these contributed to making me feel “at home.” I am pleased and grateful for the above.
