Outstanding place my mom likes to call home!
My mom is very active but after my dad passed she quit cooking, cleaning and socializing. Heron Point was exactly what she needed. I am so glad I can be the son again and stop worrying about mom because she was shrinking away and she is always busy.

nice community with room for improvement.
Overall the facility is lovely. There is a new company that just purchased the facility and now it is Heron Point. Time will tell. All in all the facility is beautiful and hoping services will be better., services and food could use some attention and optimistic about new owners.

Unhappy residents
Since Heron Point took over ownership of Regency in VB, the residents are very unhappy. The pool has been closed for months. Quality of food has dimenished. People are being locked out of their rooms . Until the last minute residents were not advised about support they would receive during hurricane.

Moving mom to independent living
The Regency changed hands and became Heron Point shortly after mom got there and tried to settle in. With no children close by, things were tricky. Just when we started to learn the routine and who to talk to about things, many of the staff left and new people took over. Food went downhill, maintenance contact was let go, there was no cleaning staff…it was a mess.
After 4 months, things have slowly gotten better but it’s honestly been hard. Mom has made some new friends and is engaging in some more activities as she has become more confident and comfortable with her new place. For that, we feel we have made the right choice putting her here.

Disappointing
The facility was sold two weeks after we moved my dad in. Housekeeping was non existent. Dining options changed to self-serve food for seniors with their walkers. The hallways are filthy. Pool is dirty. We are told they have hired staff and things will change. He would have been better off staying in his home.

Great introduction to Regency Park
I am about to move in to Regency Park. I received a great introduction to this lovely facility by the special lady in charge of showing the property. Not only did I find it a bright and cheerful place but she took care to introduce me to a number of residents. They all were friendly and seemed happy to be living there. She even arranged a delicious luncheon with them. I had visited several other independent facilities and was only introduced to staff. It really made a difference to me to meet residents. I felt I could be happy living there. She does a wonderful job of making all prospective residents feel they can enjoy life at Regency Park. I am looking forward to moving in to my apartment there.

The food was great, but chef is no longer there and it's gone down hill. There have been lots of complaints. Other than that, I think Regency Park is very good. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family, but there is always room for improvement.

The Best in The County
The housekeeping is supposed to be once a week and it hasn't been happening. This also includes the linens and making the bed for my loved one. I have spoken to the front desk and this isn't getting resolved for my loved one as I had hoped. The maintenance guy is fantastic.
The staff is good to work with any questions or concerns I may have about my loved one. Some of the activities they have include swimming, lunch outings, games, celebrations, live music, movie nights, and more for activities for the residents to choose from.
The chef is wonderful in coming up with new menu options. The dining service is wonderful. There is a lounge, dining room, and a formal dining room for options to eat in. There is even a private room for parties.
Cable, wi-fi, meals, housekeeping, and utilities are included in the rent price each month. There is a screened in porch off each resident's room.

We were able to do an in person tour at this facility, it was very very nice, however our loved one is very picky and he did not think it was going to be a good fit.

"FL Hurricane Surcharge" at R.P.
Great place, but beware R.P.'s surprise Hurricane Surcharge.....After Dorian threatened in Aug. '19, building & exterior storm preparations were passed on to renters: $350 for single apt, $750 for couple. Why: "Expenses were over what Corp. budgeted"...Could be more than one storm next year. Some call it elderly "gouging".

Preying on mom
My mother lives here it’s in deplorable condition. But that’s not what bothers me as I understand construction but the beautician is preying on my mom. She tells her what to tip but has now mentioned that her birthday is [date removed]. Expecting a gift or money is wrong

WE'VE JUST ENDED ONE YEAR OF LIVING AT REGENCY PARK.
BEST CHOICE WE COULD HAVE MADE ...AFTER VISITING MORE THAN A DOZEN FL. INDEPENDENT LIVING FACILITIES. FIRST, THE FOOD (QUALITY AND CHOICES) IS EXCELLENT. 2-BEDROOM APT. IS WELL PLANNED AND BALCONY A HUGE PLUS. NO LONG INSTITUTIONAL HALLWAYS...VERY WELL APPOINTED, LUXURIOUS FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS EVERYWHERE, PICTURES, ACCESSORIES, LIGHTING, GORGEOUS. ALWAYS PROUD TO SHOW FAMILY VISITORS.
STAFF AND FELLOW RESIDENTS ARE ALL READY AND EAGER TO HELP, TO INCLUDE IN ACTIVITIES, ETC. TRULY CAREFREE LIVING. WE'RE SPENDING PER MONTH WHAT WE SPENT FOR SINGLE FAMILY HOME PLUS FOOD...BUT SO MUCH EASIER! NOT TO MENTION IN A PICTURESQUE QUAINT SOPHISTICATED TOWN.

Be very careful before moving here.
Please be very cautious about this facility. They do not adhere to the legal terms of their lease agreements. Additionally, maintenance leaves a great deal to be desired. Just ask residents of the west building how many months there were open buckets to catch rain water from a leaking roof on the 3rd floor.

Elegance and Exceptional Care
I believe there is no better place for Senior Living in all of South Florida. After visiting all of the options and senior communities for my mother in Vero Beach, I arranged a "test" stay with Regency Park for two months in January 2017. She so love it, she moved here permanently on May 1, 2017, just two months after she first visited!
Regency Park and it's Assisted Living Community, Harbor Chase (next door) are elegant, gracious residences for people wishing to live their retirement in a community that offers a beautifully landscaped tropical setting, elegant furnishings in the common areas, excellent resident care & oversight and gourmet food in the dining rooms. The resident's rooms are clean and well appointed with walk in showers, safety equipment and a daily check in system to ensure everyone is safe in the morning, The rooms are also accessible to the many activities from movies in a real theatre with games and exercise programs provided by an excellent and caring team of employees.
Since moving there, I noticed my mother walking better, socializing more and her every need is met by a responsive and top notch staff. She has assimilated very well with the wonderful residents and highly responsive staff.
Even the move in process was efficient with people ready to help her unpack and organize and a maintenance staff to help her customize her apartment by installing ceiling fans and hanging her pictures on the walls. I didn't have a thing to do to help her transition to the residence - it was all handled by a very competent and friendly team of employees.
[Removed]. Executive Administrator, oversees both Regency Park and Harbor Chase with professionalism and kindness. Every resident knows her as she does not sit back and let others do the work. She is involved in all of the events and makes sure to attend to the individual needs of every resident.
[Removed]ensures the pricing and the apartment a resident chooses meets their individual needs and resources to help them fit in comfortably with the community.
The Activity Director,[Removed], changes the activities regulary keeping residents entertained and interested in their community.
Should a resident need memory care or more extensive physical care, they can easily transition to their Assisted Living Facility at Harbor Chase (right next door to Regency Park) and receive the same quality of care with more extensive nursing over sight. This feature takes away all the worry for families wishing to make sure their mother or father will get the increased care they may need as they age and require more assistance.
My opinion of Regency Park and Harbor Chase come from a year of extensive research on all of the communities available in Vero Beach and this community more than met my expectations. I couldn't be more impressed with their caring attitude and treatment of my mother. I believe the community handles very detail to provide a caring, family-centric and well run residence for anyone looking for a place for an elderly parent or friend. This is definitely a "best in class" community.

Best facility around ... maybe even all of South Florida.
From everything I've seen and experienced so far (will not move in until 4/26!), I've made the right decision. The facility is excellent with the most options for dining I've seen anywhere. The team is very friendly ... was even accepted by the dog greeter!!! Care Services and activities seem to be the best I've written and heard about, but have not experienced yet.

Seemed like a nice place!
We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this communtiy was very nice looking overall! The facility was lovely, well furnished, and clean. The staff all seemed very responsive and friendly, as well.

I would steer clear of Regency Park. My friend used to live here and there was mold in every room in her apartment - black mold running down the wall.
